ASEAN and the reawakening of the ancient Southeast Asian Empires
Decades ago, the Southeast Asian leaders and Pres. Marcos had a Vision, and that was the REAWAKENING of the ancient kingdoms of Southeast Asia with the magnificence of Sri Vijaya, Majapahit Empires of our Maharlika ancestors, which arguably became the World's richest empire through the 14th Century, through the Southeast Asian Treaty organization (SEATO) that eventually became the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
We were one big, prosperous, peaceful empire during that time before the Western colonizers divided these into separate countries. By the late 15th Century with the influx of Muslim influence, before Magellan and other colinizers arrived, the Hindu Buddhist Sri Vijaya - Majapahit Empire transplanted with its people the officials, craftsmen; artisans, teachers, priests, loyal subjects to Bali in present day Indonesia they also called "Pulau Dewata" or "island of the gods," but the Maharajahs of Majapahit Empire transplanted to our archipelago (presently known as Philippines) and became the Kaharian ng mga Maharlika ( Kingdom of Free Peoples) with Rajah Luisong, hence from his name Luzon was named (while the Visayas was named after Sri Vijaya and Mindanao from the Maharlika Sultanate of Sulu that originated from the ancient Kingdom of Butuan famed since King Solomon's era).
As revealed by the ancient Laguna Copperplate dated 900AD the seat of power of these ancient Southeast Asian Empires was in the land of Maharlikans, which mentioned the chief of Medang (Indonesia) as representative of the Chief of Diwata in Butuan , Mindanao of the Maharlikan lands. The Maharlika Kingdom spanned not just this archipelago but Sabah, Marianas and Hawaii. The Maharlika (Filipinos) are also from the royalties of the ancient Southeast Asian empires and beyond, and we need to reawaken our rich, glorious ancient Maharlika History long supressed, but we must reawaken and claim back our Sacred Rights. When we become AWAKE as MAHARLIKANS we shall unite not just this country but the whole of Southeast Asia, and even Free Humanity, into a united force to reckon with and a blessing for all of Humanity.
