I read before in a newspaper article that some of the earliest settlers in the country arrived in the shores of Southern Mindanao and landed particularly in the present municipality of Palembang, Sultan Kudarat (Palembang was also the name of the capital city of the ancient Sri-Vijayan empire based in Sumatra, Indonesia)sometime in the 5th century. This was somehow reconfirmed by this report that I read a while ago wherein stolen artifacts were discovered that could lead to a lost tribe:

However, I find the faces of these anthropomorphic artifact intriguing:
As anyone may notice it seemed to have striking similarity, particularly with the distinct "eyebrow" pattern, with that of an ancient Sumerian artifact:

The Sumerians were considered to be the oldest yet strangely advanced civilization that existed in the Fertile crescent (present day areas in Iraq) during the post-deluvian era (after the Flood). The father of biblical Abraham (his name was changed from Abram after converting to monotheism, supposedly from the Sanskrit word "Brahma") was a Sumerian priest. The Sumerian civilization mysteriously vanished thousands of years ago.

You are right. The Sumerian civilization was strangly advanced from the very beginning. It also vanished mysteriously.
Now we say mysteriously because the reasons have been hidden or lost. But it's equally a historical fact when and why the destruction of Sumer took place.

Yes, I also did research as to why ancient Sumeria 'mysteriously" vanished. I recalled ancient Hittite documents narrated the demise of this once great civilization in contemporary with the destruction of biblical Sodom and Gomorrah, where the masterminded attack of the Sumerian gods backfired into their people when dark clouds (most likely radioactive fallout) from th destroyed 2 cities were blown by the wind towards the Sumerian habitations, causing the very sudden extinction of a once great civilization that thrived for thousands of years.
Are those 2000-year old Sarangani artifacts related to present-day tribes like Blaan & Tboli?
The early ancestors of the tribes you mentioned probably arrived only later, said to be about 500 A.D. perhaps the 'lost tribe' arrived earlier as carbon dating predated it at 5 BC. Also the latter tribes did not practice burying their dead in anthropomorphic jars. perhaps the kind of burial practice would reveal a clue to the mystery of this 'lost tribe'
